  Bearing LifeGuard™ MDA 200: Overview

The Bearing LifeGuard Model MDA-200 puts the powerful new Bearing LifeGuard system on your own laptop or tablet computer. It will allow you to take your own computer to the site and gather information on your machinery condition quickly. Like the MDA100 it provides immediate bearing condition information to the user. It provides password protected use by a maintenance manager, supervisor, an experienced maintenance engineer, a skilled machinery vibration analyst, or a relatively unskilled data collection technician and gives on the spot answers that you need to make an informed decision. It is the most cost effective system for machinery bearing analysis available on the market.

Like the rugged MDA 100 system the MDA 200 allows a user to quickly collect and store sonic and ultrasonic acceleration mode vibration data and immediately processes it using Multiple Discriminant Analysis tm technology to provide clear statistical estimates on forecast period probability of failure(POF), Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) in hours, Expected Mean Bearing Life in hours and the estimated Financial Exposure (risk) due to potential failure estimates based on managements estimated cost. The MDA 200 will also allow on the spot evaluation of diagnostic Discriminant trends and over all Factor trends used to obtain the failure estimates [ High Frequency energy, Peak acceleration , Crest Factor, Kurtosis and Demodulated Envelop data.] along with zoomed time and frequency spectra acceleration signals for the expert.

The data is collected and stored in a fashion that allows quick review via subject tabs and comparison of previously collected samples over long time periods. The data may also be examined by other, independent expert analysis systems for verification.
